Enterprise intranet environments across both on-premises SharePoint and SharePoint Online platforms

Challenge

In multiple environments, users either had no meaningful enterprise search capability or were unable to effectively search within large, content-heavy sites. This led to poor discoverability, fragmented information access, and low confidence in available tools.

Approach

Designed and implemented custom search experiences tailored to each environment. In on-premises SharePoint, built a structured search interface that organized results into distinct content areas with a clean, card-based layout. In SharePoint Online, extended and customized PnP Search using SPFx to support advanced tagging, filtering, and refined user experience requirements.
